Well, if you want to get really technical, it's a V35 Skyline Coupe, not a G35. The Engine/Drivetrain swap is pretty insane but the chassis is what is used to identify the car. (same idea as with a 350Z that has a RB26 or SR20 swap....the car is still a 350Z)

Nissan hasn't released the specs of the next GTR yet, just the new prototype design. My best guess is some variation of the VQ with more displacement and a twin turbo setup.

since there is no V35 GT-R from Nissan, they can call it a GTR if they want. A real GTR will be a R35. I really think they are filling the void left by nissan. I think there should have been an R version of the V35 and that monstrousity on the Tokyo Show floor should be called a R36. But thats all history.

i would defiantely be interested in a GB on those HID kits.

the google translater gave me an idea of the quality but i couldnt determine a price from all the japanese. It seems though you have to buy the bulbs and a power source converter.


after putting it through a currency converter with tax, top of the line kit with power source comes out to be ~$1100 bottom of the line ~$700 plus shipping

if a group buy could put it def at $700 with shipping id buy it. but idk what you have to have. letswait and see what he can come up with.
