Scraping front bottom
Scraping front bottom
Is it just me?
Doesn't happen every day, more like suddenly once every few months, but it does get irritating.
I find that more often that I like when I enter a new driveway at the appropriate speed, if there is even the slightest almost unseen elevation, I scrape the bottom at my front bumper.

With my coupe I had to experiment with what I could go over and what I couldn't.....and of course speed would be a big factor.......the slower you go, the less chance of scraping...

well i dont have oem lip but i scraped my bumper on bottom.
you have to bend in order to see it.
also, scraped the plastic engine cover once. cant notice any cuz it was minor.
those things...you have to spend couple otherwise...you cant really do anything.
i am just waiting to mod body kits.
not worth spending any for that kinda little stuff. (different story if you are keeping the stock look, i am leaning toward body kit but who knows
)

I could get my lowered (lower than my coupe) short wheelbase Integra up my driveway fairly easily however the long wheelbase coupe is a different story. Go very, very slow and learn to enter driveways at an angle.
I scrap on certain driveways and speed bumps. After a while you figure out which things will cause scrapping and which will not. With speed bumps, I angle across. Driveways . . . Well, my mine is just fine. I know which ones to stay away from.
I've scraped my front bumper about five times so far.. USUALLY I scrape the plastic piece that sticks out more than the bumper (thank God for that thing) but I do have some minor scrapes on the bottom of the actual bumper.. the only solution to the scraping is to avoid steep driveways and such
