I put down only $10K and financed about $25K for 5 years. Got at least 4.5 to go.

Paid cash for mine. Now Infiniti is giving me back all my money when I turn my car in next week. Not a bad deal for having the car for 7 months.

remember, banks get 80% of your total interest the first year. so if you are second or third year on your loan payments, I wouldn't bother to pay it all back at one shot, put the money in Ing Direct and get 3.5% interest rate. or invest for some bigger returns.

Ive been paid off for a year and 3 months. I paid in cash and traded an 03 Evo with 5K miles. So i got a good deal.

I put $12k down when I bought it, financed the rest, with the intent of paying it off when the first payment was due. That was 7 months ago, and it feels GREAT to own the car outright.

paid 39K down on mine. The hell with making payments on a car. I feel for you guys paying over 3yrs or more.
