Is your G the one that Tony at UMS has been working on? Kevin called me a while back to ask how to get the dash apart because they were doing center gauges on the sickest TT G he had ever seen.

Congrats, that thing is beautiful. You have my vote for the best in AZ and one of the best out there!

Well, no good news yet....UTEC problems. Car idles great and runs great until the UTEC engages and then it stumbles badly. With no UTEC, it runs ok (but needs tune). will post in FI to see if anyone has encountered simular issues with the UTEC.

Ok, good news today....Problem ended up being the crank sensor needed to be spaced 20/1000 from the stock mount in order to give a good reading to the UTEC. With minor tuning and pump gas, we made 415WHP and 450 TQ @ 8.5 lbs of boost.....No signs of detonation!!! Tomorrow we will crank the boost a little more. 500/500 on pump looks real!

Well, I have good news and bad news.....

The good news is that at 17 PSI and the G made 560 Tq @ 3800 rpms ........

And the bad news is the clutch let loose shortly there after! The new clutch is on the way.

Just prior to smokin' the clutch, it made 489 hp and 488 Tq @ 13 PSI. I can't wait to see what it makes with the new clutch!!!

These numbers are with the exhaust removed....We also learned that the Injen SES dual exhaust isn't big enough for this kind of power. We hit the wall at 415hp/450tq regardles of boost level. @ 2 inches in diameter each, we hoped it would be enough, but no such luck. I guess we both new this, but I was hoping to save a few bucks!

So what exhaust should I put on it? I need a true dual 3" system.

Ideas?
