coupe tint question

My car came with dealer tint, though it isn't dark enough. I'm interested in getting the tint removed and having it retinted. My question has to do with the rear deck in front of the back winow. It looks like without disasembling the rear deck tinting will be next to impossible. What have your tint guys done about this? Did they remove the deck themselves? I hate the idea of some dude breaking down that part of my car without at least having a service manual. Would I be best taking it all apart myself and then bringing it in to be tinted?

Tint

I got 35% Madico tint done on my Black G and I don't think I made the right decision. I want to change it to 20%. I saw a black Maxima w/ 20% today and it looked awesome.

Should I remove the existing tint myself and then bring it to get tinted again? Is the existing tint easy to remove?

My tint shop does all the G's in the city so I have no worries. If the dealer does the tinting, bring it to them to get it done again.

Yeah I have 35% but now I wish I had 20 on back windows and just 35 on the front. I wouldnt do it yourself pay someone else to do it. Its a pain to take it off.

you dont need to take apart the rear deck to tint. You hardly ever do. As long as you take it to a good shop, they know what to do. oh and btw, no need to remove the old tint. Just add another layer on top of the existing tint.
