Hey all... I was wondering if anyone knew of the brake warranty going into effect for the 2006's?

Are the brakes better on the 2006's? Will they last longer than 5,000 miles...?
Only time will tell I guess.

the 05's did not have the same brake warranty as the 03-04

so 06 should be the same as 05, assumed as regular wear and tear

yea i have an 03 and I got all new pads and rotors under warranty. It was great. Havent ever had a car with break warranty before.

 

damn it, i have an 05 with 11k miles on and my rear brakes are squeeking, gonna go to dealer to get it checked out, but this sucks it better be covered!

 

Damn....that sucks! Hope you don't already have to replace the brakes. I feel this car just blasts through brakes and tires....other than that I can't complain about the car.

i've got 12,000 miles on my '05 and the brakes are fine. they squeek a little bit but there's plenty of meat on the pads still. the tires look decent too, they should last through this winter and probably to next fall or so.

in all honesty, 20,000 miles is about what to expect out of brakes and tires on a performance car if you drive it "enthusiastically".
