anyone sell a G private party?

just wondering if anyone had ever sold a G coupe private party. I guess this includes those who have purchased G's through private party sellers too...just wondering how everything went through. I want to sell my coupe and was thinking about doing so through auto trader and some otehr online sites. Please let me know if you have had any experiences with any dealings of the like...thanks.

****As a side note, I will be putting my 19x9 19x10.5 racing hart c4 2 piece wheels with pzero's up for sale soon when they come off for winter here.

Hey, do you have a price in mind for the wheels?

I bought my 03 coupe from a private party. Everything went smooth. I would rather buy a used car private party versus from a dealer. You can see all the maintenance records and not have to deal with all the dealer bs-- not to mention get a better price.

Over the years I've purchased two cars (one was my 04 G), one truck and one offshore race boat through the Auto/Boat Trader. I prefer buying private party to avoid having to pay the sales tax. I'd also sell any vehicle private party before trading it in at a dealer.

I purchased my 04 G from a private party via Autotrader. Everything went very smoothly, and it was actually a much better option than going to the dealer. It seemed like much less pressure and we were able to reach a deal the benefited both of us. I also sold my previous vehicle through an Autotrader-type website. I had like 12 phone messages and 4 emails within two days. I highly recommend it.

I bought my 03 G35 coupe from a private party. Got a good deal, he had money, and don't think he really cared too much. I made him an offer he couldn't refuse and got like 7k under blue book. A REAL good deal. There was a small sound, but took it in to the dealer and it was all under warranty.

I'm actually in the process of buy my G through a private party. The benefits for both seller and buyer are much better than a dealer. I will be gettting a 03' G35 6MT (30K mi) Fully Fully loaded with Navi and Brembo brakes, for $27K. I think that's a decent deal. Anything with those miles and options was priced at 28k to 30k at a dealer. And I don't pay crazy taxes either.

I almost sold my G last year, had it listed on autotrader for a month or so. 04 6MT, everything except nav, 21K miles, asking $30K. there was absolutely no interest in it. maybe it was just my luck.

WhitemikeG35- If your willing to go down on the price then it would be a good start, but if thats your final offer, then I would rethink it. Mine has the aero pckg, and 8k miles less and I got it for cheaper. I guess it would also depend on where you live and what the competition for that area is too.

brittain- you can find cars with those specs for around $28k if you look hard enough. That's a little steep for an 04'. People can find 05's for that price.

I bought my 03 G on autotrader. Everything went smoothly. The guy I dealt with was real honest.
