Question

Yeah I am wondering about it also..

What is the difference between Headlight Housing and Headlight Lamp? The housing did have the part numbers that match G6MT's though... I am assuming we just get the housing and get the D2S bulb and they should fit perfectly?

Where Headlight Lamp includes the D2S bulb and plug&play as well?

Can you use reuse the original fog bulbs? What exactly are H1 bulbs?

H1 bubs are just another halogen bulb with a different connection than H4. They also dont have a low/high wattage, just one power, usually 55W. Check out https://g35driver.com/forums/lighting/74289-just-got-my-06-coupe-lighting-questions-please.html

Well, at least this is cheaper than having AdvanceAutomotiveconcepts retrofit your headlights (kinda) and way cleaner. So, what you are telling me is that just use our ballasts and D2R Bulbs (I heard you can scrape some stuff off the bulbs to make it D2S) and we are ready to rock-n-roll? What I'm wondering is how the Bi-Xenon will work if we just buy the Assembly? What will make it Bi-Xenon? I can't tell if they include some sort of adapter/harness to make all this happen. Also, at Hidynamics, you are saying to convert our H4's into H1's (with the new assembly) into HIDS? Sounds interesting. Damn, but we will be losing our clearance strips! Decisions, Decisions!

EDIT: Wait a second, I just looked in the first couple of pages of this post and noticed that LIU621 paid $405'ish each side without the bulbs? Infiniti Specialists charges $549 for both sides without the bulbs? I sure hope LIU621 got the ballasts at least to go with his, otherwise, he just paid $261 too much!

Yeah the factory harness will work you just need to modify the D2R bulb or buy the D2S bulb and replace the other lights within the headlight and BAM!!!! Oh.....don't forget to remount the headlamp.

when they say housing..they mean everything except the bulbs. The bi-xenon mechanism is built into the projector already so all you really need to do is buy the bulbs. I am not sure if they include the ballast though. Any new pics of beam pattern and cutoff from distances?

Wow, now that is making me think twice about the clearance strips. First I wasn't too interested since I thought it didn't have the bulbs or Ballasts but if you say it does come with it, then now it makes a difference! All we need then to do it scrape the D2R bulbs to make the D2S and then buy some H1 HID bulbs, then we have Dual HIDs for about $700 dollars. That is more like it. If 6969G35 gets his and it comes with the Ballasts, I think I will be doing this!
