i just spoke with the guy from infiniti specialists and he has all the new bulbs (including the new D2S bulb) that you need for the projector housing for $295.00 and that is for both sides. He says there is no shipping charge if you buy the housings from him. Here are the part numbers he says you need:
26261-89965x2/26297-89902x2/26261-89962x2/B671K-C9940x2
I think that's pretty good. He is going to send me some pics of the lights so you can see what the new bulbs look like.

If 6969G35 gets his and it comes with the Ballasts, I think I will be doing this!
You can't just buy some H1 HID bulbs.. you'll need the HID conversion kit since the fogs are halogen and not HID..

Ah, but you can if the Ballasts are included in the assembly. This means we can use our current Ballasts for the H1. That's why I'm saying this is now worth looking into whereas before I thought we had to use our current Ballasts. We don't have to buy the HID kit. Only problem is figuring out where to mount our current Ballasts. I know, I'm sure there is a bit more to this but at least we don't have to buy the whole Kit and just the bulbs. This will at least save about $100 for the ballasts for the H1 Hid coversion.

Does this guy have alot of 06 Headlights? Thinking about getting a set also... since it's only 580 plus shipping....Can someone answer my question please If I were to get those 06 headlight I would need D2S Bulbs instead of the D2R bulb which we are using in our 03-05?

Yes... you'll need D2S for the projectors. Use 6000K or 8000K.

No the lense is clear. I installed a clear bulb, but that means my turn signal is white. I thought about putting an amber bulb in there, but then I saw somebody else who did that, and you can see the bulb through the white lense. Looks kinda ugly. So I bought an amber LED cluster bulb, but then I didn't want to have to deal with installing a load equalizer.

Speaking of which... Has anyone done that? How hot does that resistor get? Where/how did you mount it? I didn't want to splice into the harness, so I thought I would just stick the leads directly into the socket with the bulb. But then I saw how big the resister was, and realized that wouldn't work....

oh i see...so basically you're running it with a clear bulb....is it yellow enough to be distinguished as a turn signal?

You mean aside from the fact that it is flashing?
They don't illuminate with the parking lights, like the 03-05' did. They only blink when your flashers are on.

With a clear bulb, they look pretty amber next to the projectors and the superwhites in my fogs. But if the other lights are off, they are fairly white.

Thats why I have stealth bulbs that dont give it an amber tint when off and light up amber
