Since I'm a nice guy, (and I just installed my 06' lights last night at 3 in the morning )

Headlights = D2S, bi-xenon HID projectors (Hi/Low)
Fogs = H1
City Light = 168 or 194 (Either will work, I installed 194 Super Whites)
Turn Signal = 7440

AVS can you post a picture of your setup with just the city light turned on. Also what kind of hyperwhites did you use, LED or filament?

Yeah it's all completely plug n' play. the factory harness doesn't directly connect to the bulbs. There is just one harness on each assembly.

The 06' Assembly just happens to activate the shutter in the projector when it receives a hi/beam signal, instead of illuminating a dual-filament fog.

The only hiccup I had, was that my passenger harness wasn't quite long enough. I guess the harness connector is in a slightly different location on the 06' assembly, and the pre-06' assembly. All I had to do, was remove the ziptie thingy that was holding the wiring, so that it could reach the connector.

I used a hyperwhite filament bulb. I was going to use LED, but I read that you aren't supposed to use an LED near anything hot, and since it was inside the fog reflector, I thought the 55w H1 bulb might screw with it. (Supposedly heat makes an LED burn out)

I had to play around with the shutter speed and f-stop on my camera to get the picture to come out halfway decent, but as a result it looks a little purplish, but in reality it's a clean white.

Nice, I have both LED, and filaments sitting at home. I am gonna try out both and see which one fills out the housing better. I am guessing the hyperwhite filament bulb has a blue coating? If so, does it give the lower housing a blue tint when off? What kind of fogs are you running? What I really wanted to see was the city light lit up outdoors during the night with all other lights off, think you can do one more pic? TIA

Yeah, my city light has a blue coating. It doesn't give the reflector a blue tint when off though, because the bulb is so small compared to the reflector. I think it also might not because the bulb is up in the corner, and not at the focal point of the reflector.

I'm running some off-brand Superwhite H1 in the fogs. They don't quite match the HID's but they are close enough. I'm thinking about swapping them out for some pure yellow fogs, but the only ones I've found are 85w, and I don't feel like getting a new harness.

When pulling into my garage, I did notice that at the cutoff, my projectors emite a nice blue light, and I'm only running Philips 4300k bulbs.

I'm thinking the G6MT's lights didn't produce any blue at the cutoff because he's running a lightly tinted 6000K bulb

I'll post some more pics when it gets dark out.

AVS007,

Looks great!!!!

Will you post some pics. capturing the lights from a head on view. I would like to know if the projectors give off a spectrum effect like the BMWs and Audi where you see different colors (purplish) at different angles. Thanks in advance!
