well, $1k will get you some okay mods. i say lower it first though. you can't always drive fast in a straight line! however, $1k won't get you a set of coilovers above Tein Basic's. if you opt for drop springs, you'll have leftover funds to get an intake, and aftermarket ypipe!

 

How about save some...invest, make your money work for you.
