Re: just had my coup tinted (pic)
Ant, nice! I got my DG pick up tomorrow. What kind of tint did you go with? From the photo, it looks non-reflective. How much did it cost you? Ain't she a beauty?!!!

it is 15% and it is the charcoal / black tint, i personally don't like the reflective on any other color than black. it cost me $130 with a life time warranty, i have a feeling i will be going back next weekend to have them re do the rear window, it has been out in the sun all day and there are some bubbles still in it.

nice dude, looks limo'd from the sides
charcoal is nice and all but kinda hard to see at night when you back out, so always make sure you back into a parking spot so when you get out it wont be too hard
also.....reflective/smoked looks nice on DG as well as black though, someone on this forum had that done.....

Hey Ant,
I know you live in somewhere in South Florida. Im in Delray Beach and I know from your posting you also bought your car from Scott. The car looks great, where did you get your tint done. Im wanting to do the same, but I am new to the area. Also, do you know of any other coupe owners in the area. We should get together one weekend, would love to take the car up to Moroso one weekend for a few laps around the track. Just finished breaking mine in, and ready to see what it really can do.

AntRock,
With the cooler weather the bubbles will take about 2-3 weeks to disappear. Just be patient, it is easier said than done to remove the tint, even if it was just done, they make a hell of a mess and it takes most of the day.

Merlin,
I noticed that your sedan is tinted as well, all the little bubles have gone away, i am just concerned about the top of the rear window wear there is black dots on the glass. i am not sure if your sedan has that or not but if it did does it go away?

Powerline,
i got my tint done at a place called coral tint they are in coral springs near where i live. i have gotten 3 different cars done there included my coupe, but i sugest finding a place up in delray for convenience, just make sure you get it with the lifetime warranty this way if it ever discolors or bubbles or gets blury they have to replace it. as far as any other coupes down here i have only seen one other one than mine and it was the same exact car as mine exept dirty! i saw it in a parking lot in coconut creek. as for moroso, it is a little premature for me, even though it is broken in i would like to wait a little longer.

I have those bubbles at the top of my back window as well...they guy told me that they wouldn't go away...it's annoying, but doesn't look that bad. Mine have been tinted since Nov 9th.
