COPS HATE US GDRIVERS.

Im crusin on 40 road..doin 40..

three cop cars pull over a car and have their lights on and ****. theyre all out of the car. the roads are pretty wet, so i slow down. to 35. as i speed back up to 40..my rpm kicks too high to like 6...(u know how it just kinda kicks when u put ur floor on the pedal) and my car kinda slips. so im driving down...next thing i know i look in my rear view and i already see one of the cop cars with his lights chasing me. wtf...he pulls me over.

yeah u werent speeding, but im gonna write you a ticket for lane straddling.

wtf is lane straddling? he says...oh you were driving in the middle of the road. dude im not that dumb to drive in the middle of the road when there are 3 cop cars next to me.

he says i was doing it for 250 ft...

neway i need some feedback...any of u guys got a ticket for lane straddling and if so how much?

i live in ORANGE COUNTY, CA.

haha...i got the same crap when i was younger.
just take it to court, chances are the cop won't show.

 

sigh..that sucks. In a rainy day, an average person do not want to get wet and ****. I guess they really want u.

 

Go to the court and tell the judge that our cars are not good handling wet road.. And that is true though... Whenever the road is wet, from stop I press the gas any aggressively my rear wheels would spin and the car would slip a bit.

OC cops are nasty, thats all I can say. That is the reason I stopped my 3 yr donation to cops, ain't worth it!

What's the penalty for lane straddling? A $10 fine? You are lucky you didn't get out of your car, he may have given you a citation for J walking. You know the cops have to make their quotas.

 

OC cops are notorious for writing traffic tickets. Why? They have nothing else better to do.

Maybe you can say something about lane sharing. Lane sharing is legal i.e. motorcycles.

Or, "i was changing lanes and since the officer was participating in a felony stop, he probably caught me just as i was changing lanes."

Or, " i was moving out of the way to avoid hitting debris on the road."

 

ive never heard it called lane straddling. I would have thought it would have been Failure to maintain lane. I got one of those and it was like $45. What sucks though is that its a moving violation and you will get points on your license which means higher insurance.

 

yeah it's bs. and the funny thing was there was no one around me or anything. it was just 3 cop cars on the other side and one of em decided to get in their car and chase me.

 

I don't know if you were lane straddling or not but why did you floor the gas pedal (or as you say, "put ur floor on the pedal") to go from 35 to 40 mph? Do you turn offf VDC? Maybe you do deserve a ticket.

A friend of mine got the same ticket (failure to maintain lane) - he was avoiding a huge puddle in the lane because he didn't want to hydroplane, no one else on the road, etc... Anyway he took it to court and it was tossed out, I don't think the cop even showed up.

 

Tell the Judge, you just maneuvered the car over a little to avoid the OINKS while they were harassing...Cough, I mean searching the other persons car.

 

Why should you deserver a ticket for any of the things you mentioned...
