REV Between tac and speedo???
Hey, i have a 2005 6mt. I was woundering if anyone else who has a 6mt knows what the REV between the tac and the speedo is. I was told by a dealer that it is the rev meter and that you can set it to what RPM you want to rev too, but they did not tell me how set it. If anyone has any feedback on this it would be greatly appreciated!!!!
yes, this is true. the button to reset your trip computer when pressed, will show trip a, trip b, and a 4 digit number. when you see the 4 digit number, press and hold the button and it (the 4 digit number) will start flashing. keep pressing until desired rpm is reached, and the just let it go until it stops flashing. when your rpms are approaching the rpm you set, a red light under the rev will flash, and become solid when you reach it. imho, another useless feature
It's served me well during break-in.
I imagine it will be a nice reminder once I'm able to hit higher revs, as I'm so accustomed to shifting before 5000rpm.
Because you can set it high enough that it never flashes, it's a nice feature that never hurts to have.
