I don’t care what color the gauges are - as long as it kicks @ss!!!!

I'm much less concerned about the interior as I am performance... I think Nissan has it's back against the wall to release something that smokes the competition - many in our class are getting close.

I might be ready for a new G by then (if the '07 is worth while).

Alittle more power and nicer interior wouldn't hurt either. The point is:

I can't understand why people are trying to compare the new IS to the g35 coupe.... i'm sure the IS is a good car, but it's a 4 door, big difference between a 2 door.
But back on topic, I'm sure Infiniti will redesign the interior mostly. I hope they actually match the upper lining color with the trim color, and throw Blose out the window at the very least.

You will get all types of opinions on why Nissan is presenting the 2007 G35 sometime next year. The fact of the matter is that Nissan has a lot to prove to be a dominant import company much less to carry a "nismo" product line.

Of course its going to be an improvement. Thats a freaken given. No company wants to go back to old technology or be outdone by competitors.

But if you think about it, Infiniti has the best coupe money could buy in its price tag. Either way, its a good direction into the import buying power.

The G can already spank the 330 as is. But I think Infiniti wants their class leading hp crown back.

on the new mustang GT you can customize the dash light colors in dozens of different hues..................

Lol most of the people who posted were only concerned about the orange/amber lights being changed. i just hope they keep the look of the G from the exterior and do a number on the interior. The interior is way to plain and boring, when i sit inside my friends 330i, that plainess is very appealing. infiniti just needs to take a step higher on the luxury =)

Are you just talking out of your @ss or what?

It is also abvious that they had a good thing going with the current Gs and wont change the overall design of the car too much. Nissan makes much better performing cars than Toyota and I belive that will show once again with the 2007s. I don't think a V8 is in store for the G (i.e. g45) cuz its a low end luxury car. You dont see the 3 series available with a V8 or the IS, so i highly doubt infiniti would do this. If they keep the current 3.5 V6 it must have some structural changes to increase performance since the current Gs are tuned very high, any more would drop the MPG dramatically. I think possibly a 3.8 V6?

My only concern is if the coupe will come out for 2007 and will it be available in a MT6.

What are your thoughts on the changes that need to be made and which ones will actually be made?

It may have been a pointless thread, but that's what alot of forums consist of.

you don't have to be rude.
