Interior Work
Re: Interior Work
Where did you get the kit from? By the way, you can go to a paint store and purchase a clear coat for the aliminum to prevent any scratches.

Re: Interior Work
You posted www.wooddash.com. Did you mean Exoticwooddash.com? It looks like the aliminum bends/dents very easy? Correct? Would you recommend this product or not? Mine is on the way. If you me, would you return it and opt for the carbon fiber instead?

Re: Interior Work
If you can live with the extremely delicate finish and the rough finish of the edges, buy it. Personally I am happy with the the parts I installed.
I had an early build 6 MT coupe. It had no armrest and it was very plasticky. I bought the new console from Grubbs Infiniti (http://www.infinitiwholesaleparts.com).
As I said before, the trim scratches and shows dents very easily. I didn't choose carbon fiber because I wanted the brightness of the metal.

I can't give them a recommendation because they never followed up with a part that was cut wrong. They promised to send me a new part in April. Never responded to my follow-up requests.
