What is your biggest peeve for drivers/truckers/bikes, whatever. It doesn't necessarily have to be the most dangerous. Just the one's that deep down inside always makes you want to go %#$@%@%$!!!!

Vent here all you want! Some examples:

Drivers going too slow
Drivers going too fast
Bad lane discipline
Tailgating
Improper passing
Inattentiveness (cluelessness)
Road hogs (Aggressiveness, blocking merges etc.)

 

Like the poll in the polls section, SLOW people in the FAST lane and not using your blinker.

 

-Old people. Old peole. Old people. 30 mph in a 50.
-Kids in Scion Tc's that think they're car is fast whom i'm forced to shake my head at.
-Soccer moms that are too busy changing the dvd's on the dvd player.
-Mexican's and their bicycles.
-Street bikes that want to race. Please you're not impressing anyone cause you have a bike. I could sell my car and buy 10 of them.

 

Number 1 pet peave is when I am stuck behind 2 slow drivers and neither of them let me pass.

No blinker users while changing lanes and turning off on streets... I hateeee them!!!

 

1. Women driving big *** suburbans a.k.a buses while on their cell-phones.(worst of them all) could care less about anyone on the road. Uuuuggghhh

2. Drivers who slam on their brakes to change lanes but no blinker.

3. Teenage kids who have riced out integras, scions, civics with fart cans on the back who actually think they are cool. All they are is a waste of youth and money for that matter.

4. Indians on their bicycles.

Lane discipline is a big one for me. My father-in-law (mid-60's, but used to be a hell-raiser in his youth) was complaining about some guy being all over his @$$ while in the fast lane. He said "...and I was doing 75 in a 70!"

Slower traffic keep right! Just because you're in the right-hand lane doesn't mean that you're a slow-poke, old geezer. Move over, let the faster traffic pass and then get back in the fast lane if that's what you need in order to defy your age.

 

Tailgaiting and not allowing you to maintain a safe distance between you and the driver ahead. Someone always seems to pull in meaning you have to slow down more to get that distance back.

tailgating is the most annoying thing. I always find it funny how you're in the fast lane, and all the other lanes are taken up yet the driver behind you tailgates you like crazy as if that'll make a difference. Then as soon theres open space on the next lane, they zoom past you going 90mph then slam on the brakes and starts tailgating the next car. Next thing you know, you're passing him and you're back to square 1.

 

Pretty tough choices there. It's a bit of a toss up with me on a number of them but tailgating is probably the worst. I don't like inattentive drivers, slowpokes or lane hogs either.

 

This comes from a youthful teenager (im only 18). People who drive below the speed limit. There are days when i feel like being a law abiding citizen and doing the speed limit and yet there are still people going slower than the speed limit.

My mom drives a big a$$ suburban and talks on her cell hone and it drives me crazy.

Especially in houston, cars that are falling apart and shouldnt be on the road. I had some mexi in an old pickup and his **** was falling off his car while he was on teh freeway. I was next to him instead of behind him.

Consturction/Gravel carrying turcks who dont cover their loads. God that jsut pisses me off when they hit a bump and all these little rocks come flying at my windshield/front bumper


Oh and btw for everything mentioned in this thread, don't move to Houston. Everything on this thread I would encounter on a daily basis.
