Parking in back of lot ... ?

Since i got my G i have started to park in the back of parking lots usually along one of those little penisula things with trees in them. That way if the lot filled up i could only have one person on the side of me!
For some reason i keep coming out of places like Best Buy the other day with people parking next to me in the far back, while their are plenty!! of spaces open throughout the lot? the cars that park next to me are always nice modded cars.

Does this happen to anyone else??

p.s. I have CG Pro on my car and another layer of the top coat so that the tree sap and bird [censored] doen't hurt it, and i wash the car twice a week!

Yes, I do the same thing. I'll find a penninsula out in the middle of nowhere and someone will still park next to me...most likely out of curiosity. They usually never cause dings though becuase the people that are curious about the G have enough respect for it not to slam their frigging door on it.

The only negative is if you park too far away from the majority of cars. If your car is too isolated it gives the opportunity for some psycho to hurt your car because no one is around to see him. I will always look for an end spot as well but not in no man's land. I try to keep it in a well lit place at night, not too far from the rest of the cars, as long as I get a corner spot.

yeah its good to park near the lights!
When i can't find a spot because everything is pretty much filled i try to park next to nicer cars (especially the modded ones) because i know they will treat my car a lot better than some soccer mom's suv or some bums 89 sh*t brown honda.

At work I always take the last 2 spots, park across them, peepz know not to mess with it and there are rarely any cars close by. And even if there are any, there is no way for them to put a ding in the door since it is parked across 2 spots. Mostly some Porshes, BMW, Mercedes or modded sports cars go that far back anyway.

I also park in the less inhabited areas of the Best Buy parking lot. I usually have to wash my Black G daily.

Be careful about taking up 2 spots - a lot of people will purposely go after cars who park this way. "He thinks he's better than us to take up 2 spots? etc. etc."

Especially in a moderately full lot, it's pretty [censored] annoying - I've even been pissed off enough at these idiots to park my rental car right next to their precious baby (I would never ding it or scratch it however).

Just be a man and find the best possible single spot.

Re: Parking in back of lot ... ?

sounds like you need to wax it then ...

cause after a good wax ... the thing is still fairly clean after a highway run in the rain....

and then go to a high power spray wash ... and it blasts right off...

or at least good enough ...

BUT if you wash it everyday .. your gonna end up with SWIRLS faster than someone who waxes and does it once a week ... and can live with it not impecable all the time...

I was like that ... but now... I know .. less touching less swirls .. less upsettedness for getting BLACK

ehehhehe

really the waxing makes it easier

the best tip is to after washing ..take the hose tip off so a fountain of water comes out .. put it close the car and "sheet the water off" .. it cuts drying down to almost nothing

LESS rubbing -less swirls

later

Yea, be carefull about parking across two spots. I have a co-worker that always parked his new honda pilot that he's very carefull with (don't ask me why) across two spaces away from other cars thinking that no-one would mind because he's so far out. Well, apparently someone did and they keyed his car while parked across two spaces.
I don't think anyone would have ever even noticed his car if he just parked normally...

actually a couple of peeople do that, its ok. I am not worried, I was actually told by a guy that drives a sweet turbo supra to do this, he said when he parked normally people ruined his doors with dings. I only do it at work.

Yeah, not to keep repeating, and I'm sure if you only do it at work its ok, but my uncle double parked his brand new Caddie only to come out of the store and find it keyed with a note that said something to the tune of "Your not that special".

And yes, I only park in the back of lots too......Although I actually let a valet guy take it the other day......wow was that tramatic!
