Parking in back of lot ... ?
Re: Parking in back of lot ... ?
I was just at Best Buy about an hour ago. I parked out by myself at the end of the lot. No other cars even close to me. I come out to find some POS car parked next to me. One of those cars thats been in an accident and had to get a new door off of some other colored car. And the lot was still empty around us. He can't be taking too good care of that car with a red rusty car with a blue door.
I always park at the end of the lot not. No more fighting for good spaces. And suddenly I don't mind the extra walking.

I also definitely agree with the other posts about NOT TAKING TWO PARKING SPOTS! There are enough nuts out there that will be annoyed with your hoggng two spots and will at that time REALLY NOTICE YOUR CAR. I am very careful with my car and will park it in corners usually only allowing my driver's door to be on the side of the potential passenger door. (not every car has a passenger) Don't look for trouble by taking up more than one space.

Yup i'm pretty bad too. I dont take up two spots but always look for a curb to park next to and then whichever side it's on I lower the mirror and back it in. Get as close as possible to it so there is plenty of room on the other side for people to park.
Washing takes place about every 2 days on black unfortunatly but swirls arent too bad thanx to microfiber.
Noticed a door mark today but luckly it was minimal and came right out with a little wax. Sux cause I always check when I get back to my car if there is someone close to me. this was minimal though so I can see how I didn't see it.

yeah whenever i come back out from anywhere i check the car, both sides, for dings scratches etc
but i wouldn't go bashing in someone's hood necissarily or pulling out a gun like Balzac has got in his trunk... hehe

I would definately do something though depending on the severity of the damage!

At work I park at the end of the parking lot, and take up two spots. So far no issues, and that's where most of the 330's and M3's park, so they won't put a ding in my doors. Only ding religous people like me park in the back.
