Your service manager was correct.. the VQ makes the most HP at 5000+ miles. You wont hurt anything by going to syn early, but it could take alot longer to reach the optimum HP and MPG. If it were winter, I might go to syn before 5K.. but being summer, I thought I would wait til 5K+.
