Any road tests to the 2005 G35 with sport pack?
Any road tests to the 2005 G35 with sport pack?
Anyone know of a roadtest done to the 2005 G35 Coupe with the 19's and sport suspension?
My car has the sport package ("For 2005, the coupe gets the same interior and exterior upgrades as its sister sedan, plus the Sport-package-equipped models include a new sport-tuned suspension, a viscous limited-slip differential, 19-inch aluminum-alloy wheels, and drilled aluminum pedals" Car&Driver)
I would like to know how it fares against past G35s. I haven't driven past Gs, but this one, though very stiff, has great handling, quick lane change and no roll.

Ive been looking too, i have the same,05 with sport..I would like to see how much the sport suspension actually improved over the 03-04 and the new tires and interior upgrades...but
so far i havent found one. Actually, you can look on www.newcartestdrive.com and they have one, but it doesnt really give you a lot more information about the 05 then the 03-04.

You may see a comparo or two on the 06's as the new BMW 3 is an 06 as well as the IS350.
For 05, i don't think anyone really cared other than us.
Other than that, you'll see lots of summaries (like the one you quoted) and some quick notes from past reviews about what is due to change.
You might try blogs about cars, and other forums for a detailed comparison between the 05 versus 03-04.
Just don't add onto the "my 05 is better than your 03-04 because..."

Never driven an '03-'04, so I couldn't and wouldn't say my '05 is better, but my '05 6MT does handle great. The ride isn't any worse than you should expect, and I really don't consider it that bad anyway. It's a sports car with sport suspension.
The 19's are loud as **** on the highway.

I test drove the 03-04. I have an 05 6MT... It actually does feel a little tighter but to be honest I think the light OEM 19s had a lot to do with the handling. I know the sport suspension is the 350Z OEM suspension tho.
I still say my Z stock suspension felt way better than my G stock suspension tho. Now I upgraded my wheels and suspension so it feels way better than my stock Z when I had it.
