i think you're right about the '05 "sports tuned package". but i'm sure that the stock '03 and '04 5at coupes didn't have lsd unless you purchased the performance package. i had an '03 5at coupe and mine did not have it.

The viscous coupling is inside the housing. The housing looks the same on open and lsd models.

Shure looks different under the Z... You can clearly see the Vcoupling...

Yes, R200V is the VLSD unit. Nissan has been using the R200's (and VLSD in general) since the early 90's. The only other differential (aside from open) that was used (to my knowledge) was HLSD units on some S15 Silvias (and the much older R180 units, but that's neither here nor there).

Old thread resurection. I just bought an 03 5A/T today. It has the 18" OEM wheels but is there any anyway that I can tell if I have LSD?

I heard about Titanium center console and titanium tint? But how can I tell? I thought all center console looks the same? And what does the titanium tint mean? like the slightly tinted windows?

If your center console is silver, it has titanium console. If it's black/dark grey then it doesn't. I don't know about the tint, that's new to me.

03-04 Maximas also came with the option of an HLSD...
