Re: Coupe Rear Seat

A-men scg35. I too have an Odyssey, which belongs to the wife. There is no minivan better than Honda's. After driving my van, I can really appreciate my G35s. It is soooo much more quieter, powerful and better at braking than the van. I have two kids as well, and the van is perfect for the whole family.

Oh, and Neils, with the vans seats removed, tinted windows, a curtain and some smooth music, you don’t stand a chance of losing your manhood…..She finds it .. ;-)

Re: Coupe Rear Seat

For those who own the g35 coupe. When you want to access the back seats and pull the handle do you have to keep pulling the handle or pull it once and it will move forward automatically. is there a way to return the seat the way it was before someone accessed the back seat or do u have to adjust the seat every time? do u have to be short to access the back seats? Does it take a long time for the seat to move or is it quick?

Re: Coupe Rear Seat

Pull the handle and seat back forward, then the seat motors forward rather slowly. Push the seat back upright and the seat motors back to where it was; but you have to re-adjust the seat back angle.

Easy to get (fall) into the back, much more difficult to get out. Don't put an elderly arthritic back there, it might take EMS and the "jaws" to get them out without injury.

Re: Coupe Rear Seat

I have a 2002 Ford Windstar in additiona to the G35C - a perfect compliment - Powerful Minivan (3.8L) and the best Coupe on the road -

I cannot find decent kiddies booster seats that will not damage the leather... all have sharp plastic at the back..
Why don't they make some that are leather seat friendly????

Re: Coupe Rear Seat

I use a blanket or a towel when the car seat goes in the G.

Re: Coupe Rear Seat

Yeah I do - but you still get the protruding indentations from the plastic feet and the backrest..
I will continue to look for a card seat that is leather friendly.. something with a foa or softer base.. I have seen them around..
Thanx for the info anyway...

Re: Coupe Rear Seat

hehe
well how about this...get a cardboard box and cut out a side of it and use that instead of a blanket, you wont have indentations anymore because i dont think the plastic will protrude thru the cardboard...if it does, then use a sheet of steal haha

Re: Coupe Rear Seat

I also have this problem when switching from my Windstar to the coupe. You are right that blankets will not keep the indentations away. If you are really concerned about it, I suggest using an "egg-crate" cut-out to fit the seats. This is a firm foam base that will absorb the weight of the kids without going through to the seats. It is also quite durable. You should be able to find decent size pieces at a medical supply company. Good luck!
