I might listen to that bullshi_ for the first 3 months, but after that...no way.
That works out to almost 1/2 quart per fillup...

Now is the time to escalate on that issue before it costs you big time later.

Concerned G35 owner

I just had a similar problem with my G35 coupe. The engine started making
nosies at cold starts. No engine warning lights ever came on and when
I took it in for the 7500 mile service I was told the noise was due to a low
oil level. This to me is crap. A new car with barely 7500 miles using
increased amounts of oil and worst of all, the warning lights did not function
to warn me of a bad situation.

I will have to keep a close eye on the oil level from now on. Not what I had
planned on when I bought this car!
