Just to point out a simple fact...

Rattling interiors are not indicative of the durability of the interior... unless you have parts that are rubbing together and wearing out.

Usually interior rattles come from parts that don't have proper padded washers used between parts, or a lack of padded tape insulating the intersection of plastic and metal parts.

Interior durability is generally referring to how well the seats withstand cracking, wrinkling, tears and general wear... as well as how the dash and seats handle sun exposure and heat in general.

 

Ok, I'm scared. I can't stand rattles and just got my G.

2003 350Z..no rattles (traded for G)
2004 X5..no rattles (still have)
2001 Miata..no rattles
2001 330i..no rattles
1989 Miata..no rattles
1998 Prelude..no rattles
1996 Accord..no rattles
1994 Civic..no rattles

Maybe I've just been lucky so far...hope it continues.

 

So true. I've never seen a group of people so obsessed with rattles.

 

most people have rattles regardless of the year of the car............some people get lucky and dont or jst dont hear them...........its the luck of the draw

 

should always have music on anyway. then u wont hear anything. i tried to get the dealer to fix my rear view mirror rattle and it just made it worse.
