I placed a July order (S). it is an early sept / late aug delivery. 04.

i have an order number but when should i expect the vin.

 

3-4 weeks before you receive the car. You'll get a VIN when the car is on the water.

Well, I have an "S" order and I just talked to my dealer and he had my VIN# !! woo hoo! He said it was going to be here in Aug. Now, I'm getting excited!

I thought they discontinued the CB color for the 2004 didn't they ?

Did the dealer tell you when he will have the pricing for 2004?

 

AstroCat. I have an S order and was told my delievery will be around Sept 10th. In what state do you live? Also I believe the price of the new Coupes will be known when they are released at the Ports. There must be some spies there to inform us. Then and finally the cat will be out of the bag!

Nope, just added Twilight Blue, CB is ok.
And, no word on pricing, soon I was told.
I live in Chicago and they said it was due in Aug.

I'm just ordered a G35 C that will come in in late Aug. or early Sept. but the dealer said it was a 2003. Any chance it's a 2004? The dealer said that they would not receive 2004's until late October/early November at the earliest. Was he bs-ing me? He also said that although pricing for 2004s are not out yet, he thought there would be a price increase of somewhere near $1000.

was yours a total new order or did he just take one off the order sheet and assign it to you.

S orders (04) are slated to arrive either late august or early sept.

price questions are a guessing game at this point

 

He took it off the ordersheet... said it was one of 2 6MT they had left coming in before they had a month where nothing was arriving, then the 04 would arrive in late Oct./early Nov.

Man, if the 04s are coming in early Sept. allready, I'd be more inclined to wait for one of those, even if it is a few hundred bucks more expensive. I'd get that back in higher resale value anyway. Hmm... what should I do now, I wonder. Is it for sure that the 04 will arrive that early?

everyong i spoke to said S orders (late aug, early sept) are 04's. even my dealer.

i did wonder about getting an 03 one month before 04's are out.

orig i ordered a bmw, but the way it was customized it wouldnt' arrive until sept, one month before 04's, so i cancelled. then i discovered the G.

they are to hit west coast late aug.
