8000k replacement/where to put jack

ok im getting 8000k bulbs on friday and im wondering how i replace these bulbs..i did a searach and it said i need to take off my wheels,now is that the only way to do it,could i just remove the whole headlight and do it that way..the reason being is my friend doesnt want to be liable if the car falls from the jack,and i dont even know where to position the jack under my car..anybody have any solutions...?

i had it done by a shop and they didn't even take the rim off. they just turned the wheel the other way(working on right side, turn wheel to left side) and took the fender lining off.

^^^ LOL!

A bit of advice... it's A LOT easier to work if you take the wheel off. I just did this last weekend. Doesn't take more than 10-15 min each side.

thanks guys very helpful,the only reason i dont know where to position the jack is cause i never got a owners manuel with my car i bought it used and the last owner lost it..and my bud didnt want to do it cause last timne he did the jack fell on his friends bmw and it cracks some seal so he doesnt wanna be liable for what could happen..also can the headlight just be removed and i can replace them that way?

im just gonna remove the whole head light and change them i dont wanna risk damaging the oem hid or the replacements

Well removing the headlight will take you alot of time, just turn the wheel and take the clips out fo the fender liner and then you can see the whole back side of the headlight. After that you should know what to do.
