Has anyone used DAS for auto shipping?

I used them once to deliver a car that I purchased from out of state. I don't know how representative my one experience was, but it was not positive.
While the price was ok, the car was damaged on delivery. One front tire was curbed badly enough to require replacement (bubble), and the rear windshield was cracked. They claimed they took delivery of the car with the tire in that condition (which the seller from whom I purchased the car denied), and claimed the rear glass was shattered by a hail storm (an act of God that is disclaimed in the carriage contract). Thus I was stuck holding the bag for both repairs.

Yes, In 2002 used them to move a Lexus and an Acura from Tampa, FL to Northern California. I paid extra for the cars to be on an enclosed transporter.
The results? Almost $2K in damage to each vehicle, including crushed rocker panels on my Acura, scratched front & rear bumper, & heavily scratched decklid. My Lexus LS400 only had the rear bumper scratched, but it was so bad that the shop doing the insurance work had to replace the rear bumper. With paint that was around $1500.
IMO they're actual "NOT SO Dependable Auto Shippers."
I can email or post some pics of the damage tonight. Insurance fixed both cars, but I was not a happy camper when I picked up my cars !!!!
On the other hand, In 2000 I moved a Viper GTS and Mustang 5.0 from Nor Cal to Florida with http://www.intercitylines.com/
Not a scratch on either car. The experience was exactly what I wanted/expected. Cost was around $1600/vehicle.
You do get what you pay for when it comes to shipping a car cross country. I highly recommend Intercity.
