Shorter throw, more defined gates, less vibration at higher RPMs.

Smooth engagement

Does anyone have any thoughts on the B&M short shifter? Rogue's seem to be hard to get in Canada

Have you done any searching at all? It's been discussed in probably 40-50 threads that I found today by searching. The B&M is apparently crap that vibrates like crazy.

OK, I got one question. I'm trying to decide between the RE, Nismo and B&M. One thing I'm curious of is that with both the Nismo and B&M there is an integrated cup/ring on the shifter unit. The RE does not. Why is that? Also, on the RE site it states that you may want to change out some cup during install as the stock one breaks often. What does this mean?

The cup is a plastic part - the RE uses the factory one. It's thin plastic and can break, so when removing it from the factory shifter and reinstalling on the RE shifter, it can break. Might want to get a new one ($10) just in case.

Anyone know where I can get a Rogue short shifter for a discount? Plus where can you purchase this plastic cup? Thanks.

the only way it will void the warranty is if it causes the problem. So if your engine blows up the dealership would have to prove that the shifter caused the problem.

No, I bumped the last question of whether or not it would affect the warranty. I wasn't bumping the thread.
