How to remove overhead/reading light housing?

How do you remove the overhead/reading light housing? I don't see any... opening and I'm afraid to start prying with a screw driver. I want to install an LED array into there for a white(r) interior lighting.

stab at it with a screw driver until you've made a hole roughly the size of the blub you're putting in there... never fails.

anyways, I was looking at the thing and I still can't find any way to open it except to start prying at the sides... any one else tried this before?

its in your manual last time i looked. cup0spam is actually right. you do need a screwdriver, but not for poking.

I used a precision srewdriver and a piece of thin microfiber cloth, then gently wedgd out the clear pnels on the outer sides. The plastic is soft so make sure to use the cloth over the tip. Do what you need to do, then pop em' back in. When popping it back in, match the tabs and it wiil pop back in with little effort.

It's in your manual. Very easy to do. Just get a small flathead and pop it right out. Trust me you won't make any damage. If you want to be safe, put a piece of cloth right underneath your flathead so it won't scratch.

LOL, right, for prying. (don't forget to wrap it in a cloth to prevent scratching and gouging.)
