Talking Skated on ice

Hey guys!

Damn TX weather got crazy and wet road got froze after rain..
Times about 2:00, my G was covered with ice, not even clear sight bc frozen windshield. I didnt want to wait because my house is not even a mile from my friend's house, so i decied to drive instead of melting them out. I was trying to drive nice and slow.
Suddenly, I saw a fire truck blowing siren and comming over me.
when I atempt to chage the lane to the right side, my G sliped so hard and lost balance.
Can you imagine that freaking big truck's on your back and you skating in front him..... even worse with frozen windshield ..
yeah .. I was totally crazy last night, but had fun tho..

BTW ..

Nothing happend, accidentally I felt about the balance when sliding.

SAFE DRIVE EVERYONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok serious question...people always complain about the hurricanes, snow, blizzard, etc...if people had the chance to, why don't they move somewhere with better conditions like California?

I remember those crazy northeast winters. It's not an uncommon sight to see SUV's spinning in circles all over the road hitting guard rails and parked cars. I wouldn't want my car anywhere near the streets in the winter there.

Despite what you mentioned in addition to traffic and expensive real-estate... I still would rather live in Cali than in God auful Massachusetts.... where you have 6 months of straight cold and non-G35 weather. Real-estate and taxes are still wicked high over here in Mass, and the roads are all chopped up and poorly routed due to the fact that most of them were designed hundreds of years ago(Spaghetti streets as they call them).

At least Cali has mega-hot girls, hot-cars, perfect weather all year round, etc. If happyness is your end goal, I think Cali is the easiest way to find it.

I'd live there right now if I could convince 2 of my friends to take the plunge and move with me.

*sigh...unforunately after he revokes Tookie's clemency hearing, I'm afraid Arnold will have a hard time for re-election. WHY?!?

California's not all about hot girls, while there are a lot, and the perfect weather. Us Californians tend to have a more simple approach to things. Like for example, tomorrow I'm going to Disneyland. For what? Just so my gf and I can see "snow". haha Earthquakes only happen *knock on wood* in a blue moon, whereas hurricanes happens what...4/5 times a yr? About the mudslides and forrest fires..first of all the way it works is there's a fire and then it rains causing the mudslides. Keep in mind those homes are the ones costing millions of $$ like the ones on MTV's Laguana Beach.

Don't forget about the incredibly high insurance rates us Bostonians get.. No geico or progressive here. 49 other states get it...

Too many things here in MA holding me back from moving elsewhere.

It's quite nice here in NM - short winters, little snow, more sunshine than the sunshine state, few people. Oh, forget this post.

I worked in Boston for about eight years. The part that I liked the least was the small amount of daylight they get in the winter. The sun doesn't rise until about 7:15 AM and it sets around 4:15 PM. I need more sunlight.
