Ok guys, I need your opinions... I went for my 2nd oil change this weekend and asked for full synthetic. The service guy (idiot) said they would put the same thing in it this time as my 1st oil change I had a while back. During this trip they used Mobil 1 10w30 and my 1st one they used 5w30. I thought these were different...is my engine in any trouble since they used two different ones? Which is the "right" synthetic for this car. Please advise.

 

Both will work...one of them (5w30?) is recommended for a wider range of temperatures. You can check this in your owner's manual.

 

10W should be fine especially during the summertime.
