Sorry about all the quotes but I was tempted to see if you had modified the suspension and that maybe an aftermarket conversion was causing all the rattles. I don't see that you've done that and it leaves me a little confused as to why your car rattles so badly and why my car (G35X) is so rattle free. Could it be that mine is an 04, known for their superior build quality?

I'm sorry your experience has been so bad. But it doesn't seem to be the same for all G35 owners and for me, at least, the build quality is excellent. Better luck with your next ride!!!
WOW, dude you don't leave any stone unturned. Man if you worked for the IRS and audited my taxes I'd be in sooooo much trouble. I'll make sure I keep track of what I type. Good work!!!!

i mean overall this car is amazing. the handling is decent speed could be better but every car has its problems.if you could tell me one car that is absolutley perfect let me know. i drove a ferrari a week ago for a few days and i could write a book about how many things i hated about it. well maybe a magazine. (but still) name one car that you wouldnt have something to bitch and moan about thats under 40k ....
and please let us all know so we can go out and trade our G's for it. NOT

Haha...When a customer complains about a rattle. We always say "Maybe there's a loose nut behind the wheel."

95 mercury sable!!!!!!! u know why that car doesnt rattle, cause the whole deam interior is one huge ugly piece. thats why it doesn't rattle. Plus the reliability of that sable is good enough for you to drive rattle free for about 50k miles before the car needs to b in the shop every other day for real problems. yea problems like seals, wheelbearings, gaskets, radiators, waterpumps, calipers, master cylindes, distributors, brake lines, fuel lines, steering racks, tie rod ends, sway bar links and bushings, shocks, colapsed springs, ruotted out exhaust parts, etc. yea all those parts that die out after the first 3 years of u driving the car one by one. So u waste ur time on that piece of crap, and ill deal with the slight rattle which i dont even have on my luxusiously and inovative designed in and out G35 which is build to last 200K miles. BUDDD!!!!!

2004 (bought in 2003) with 65k miles no rattles, the only problem was a broken seat track (probably fault of my ex and I getting a little crazy lol) and CD player started skipping and that was replaced via warenty.

I don't know if it's the air vents or speaker. I also get the sound of air passing through the driver's side window when it's cold outside.

I know that rattles are just a nuisance, but to me they are an indication of a car's build quality, and the G is obviously lacking in that department. These constant rattles wouldn't be acceptable on a $10K Hyundai, much less on a upper $30K supposedly luxury car.
I fully agree with you. My rear view mirror, clock, and dash area squeaks all the time, it drives me crazy! Although, it doesn't bother me enough to trade the car in.

Well my car sounds like a gaggle of geese live in it, along with chipmunks and some kind of Medieval forge is in there too.
