I drive mostly on the highway and get 26-28 mpg depending on how few state police I see. If I have to drive around in the city, I get 22-23 mpg.

I picked up my used 03 coupe in June and drove it from San Diego to San Francisco. The NAV said 25.9 at around 70mph

I only drive on weekends but haven't been able to duplicate that, and highway driving only produced 20-21mph. I recently checked my air pressure and WHOA! 20PSI??? I quickly got them all up to 30 (or whatever the label on the door said) and hit the freeway:

29.5mpg!!!

I guys the Click and Clack guys were right, check your tire pressure every week!

'03 couple 6MT, 5.7K miles. when the tire pressure was kinda low. i got only around 15mpg. 60% local. 40% highway. when the tire pressure went back to normal. i got around 18/19 mpg. i try to fill up the tank as soon as the empty light is on. i notice that i have around 3 gallons left in the tank. i heard people saying that once the car breaks 8K miles. the full efficience will improved. Don't know if that's true. Since i just got the car used. hope by more driving, i can get a better feel of how the engine runs. hopfully, i can get better gas miliage in the future.

i complained about this along time ago my gets like 10 mpg i drive a lil hard but still it sux the best i gotten on the highway at a steady rate is 15 mpg

also for some reason my gas light goes on and off when im at a quater tank but its very unaccurate your mpg readings maybe low because the gs have a issue with the gas level sensor , at least thats what atlantic infiniti told me when i brought it in for service

There is only one way to compute your mileage, miles driven divided by gallons to fill up. Using the gas light or so-called miles per tank are not accurate at all.

Seriously, anyone who routinely gets over 25mpg with a G35C needs to trade it in for a Camry. Granny drivers~

i agree. All this talk about when the light comes on etc doesn't mean much. Not every car is calibrated the same and it certainly isn't exact enough doing it that way.

My car averages 15.5-17 mpg (US) city and 24-25.5 highway at 70-75mph.

I have no problems with it..... they're keeping the insurance rates low on G35 Coupes.

Now i'm going crazy coz i only hit 20 once... so the final test is i went to Pocono this weekend and it's about 240Miles back and fort.. so i was running around 70 on a cruise control and really baby my gas... i never step on the gas more that 1/4 and I got a F***ing 21 MPG on all freeway!!!! why can't i get around above 25MPG what the hell are you guys doing to hit that... I was so slow and easy on the gas that i felt i'm going to fall asleep because i was bored driving this way!!!! If i'm going to drive more conservative than this then i better shoot my self coz it aint fun not being able to go above 3k RPM... I drive a 05 6Mt.. i HATE YOU ALL

I know I'm going to get all kinds of flaming, but I deal in results. When I had my SE-R Spec V I got about 19 MPG because I drive the crap out of it at every opportunity. Then I put in the combo of Mobil 1 and Slick 50. Say what you want about Slick 50 but my MPG went from 19 to 21 MPG. Then I added gear skipping (using either only all odd or all even gears when up-shifting, but while still racing the car when I had the opportunity), which moved my MPG to about 22. With my header, intake, and exhaust upgrade I got a final MPG of 24.

When I got my G35 I was floored to find that I was only getting about 18 MPG with somewhat spirited driving (I can't seem to keep the "slip" light from staying off when I accelerate at full throttle, so I haven't had the chance to really get on it yet). Then I decided to put in the above combo and I've been approaching 19.5 to 20 MPG. And this is with some autobahn cruising (a.k.a., 90-100 MPH). A pop charger might bump that number up a bit more.

If I drive harshly, I get 15mpg. I average around 17-20 on city. And 21 on highway.
