Yeah everyone is right there is no way a rock can hit your car (on the side) and make a scratch that long, its not possible. All of us have the crappiest paint ever put on a vehicle, ive never seen anything like it. Im sick and tired of washing my car and finding little inch long scratches from just drying it off. Thats just plain ridiculous, thats why im getting a BMW my next car.

LOL. And I thought I was the only one who had that problem. I agree that the Germans do a much better job painting their cars.

oh yeah, and you might want to wash that dirty a$$ car before you start or else it will turn into a nightmare.
I just got back from a 200mile trip in the rain when the car got scratched so its bound to get dirty. Thanks for the advice though. I won't wash it before AccordFreak contacts me, since its gonna rain again anyways.

OMG, I just got the SAME EXACT length of scratch on the SAME exact location. Not sure if I was keyed or maybe a branch...

The only thing is that I can feel the scratch when I move my fingers over it.

My premium is 250, so I'm tempted to take the car to paint. On the other hand, I hate the possible rate increase...

I'll first take it to a detail shop and see what they say. How much do they usually charge to take out that kind of scratch?
