However, I have another dilemma, I just found out from reading the forums at phonescoop.com and testing it out myself that the phone I got from letstalk.com with the old firmware is an UNBRANDED/UNLOCKED phone! And if I were to do a warranty exchange with Cingular to get the updated firmware they will most likely send me a replacement phone that is LOCKED. So my dilemma is should I exchange it and get a new phone with the updated firmware that might or might not solve my drop connections or keep the unlocked phone.

Nokia phones are notoriously easy to unlock. Shouldnt be that much of a problem.
