HID colors

Hey guys. recently I just got some HID bulbs as a gift from a friend. He told me that he got it from HIDynamic.com, I just putted them on this christmas, for some reason I though 8k is suppose to be blue but instead it looks kinda purplish, not blue do u guys think the 6k would be more blue if anyone has gotten the bulbs from HIDynamic?

The problem with those bulbs is that they don't have nearly as many lumens (the actual brightness of the bulb) as the factory 4300k bulbs. It may look "cool" but the light output has been substantially decresed.

Whatever floats you boat though!

They may change colors over time, I know most HID bulbs need a 50 hour or so break in before there true color temp is known. Atleast this is what I've read on every set of Instructions that have come from past (true) HID bulbs I've ever bought.
