Debadging?

Hey guys, how do you debadge your g35. I want to remove the Infiniti and the g35 from the trunk and just have the infiniti logo. I have been told to use dental floss to remove the lettering but how do you remove the adhesive?

I used 6lb. fishing line to remove the lettering. Afterwards, I used some Stoner Tarminator to remove the residual adhesive. Everything came with ease and there was no damage to the paint's finish. Good luck!

I've done this on a few cars. Here are the step by step instructions to finish off the thread!

1. Use a hairdryer for ~1 minute over the emblem (to heat up the adhesive)
2. Use Dental Floss to get behind the emblem and dislodge it from the car.
3. Use your fingernail to remove the excess glue.
4. Apply Goo Gone or Stoner Tarminator to remove the rest of the glue.
5. Wash off the chemical with soap and water.
6. Dry the paint.
7. Wax the surface.
8. Enjoy!
