2005 G35 Baseline Dyno

Just got a baseline dyno done today on our completely stock 2005 6MT (w/19" wheels) 242HP, I'm pretty satisfied. Graphs to come shortly.

-Pertinent Info-
DynoJet Dyno
70% humidity
59 degrees
Sacramento, CA
Pull was done in 3rd gear

Dyno'd at 1320 Custom Fab (Thanks Guys)

***One strange thing to note is that the end of the first pull my SLIP light came on and stayed on. It caused a small power loss on my second run. We all figured it was because only the rear wheels were moving. As soon as we drove out of the bay area the SLIP light went off and everthing was back to normal.***

The first run is in red. The break in the graph is due to my very old computer not cooperating. I graphed fine the first time...then my computer froze...and I couldn't get it to display right after that. Again, I'm very happy with this as a baseline.

Pretty accurate dyno.

242rwhp with 18% drivetrain loss is about 295 crank hp.

242/0.82=295.12

I must be lost...242 is a good number? Is the 298HP rating not a rwhp rating? BTW, Ive got an 06 6MT coupe

Yes, 242 rwhp is a good number. The 298 hp is the hp rating at the crank. Manufacturers use that number for obvious reasons.

Someone explain to me why I'm loosing 30 horsepower from my engine to my rearwheels...

I'm going to take it in and have infiniti look at it, they said even tho i've modded it-- they'll take a look

but any ideas? I'm pretty upset about that... The car feels fast as hell. Could have it just been a bad dyno run?
