Need some G35 buying advice

I currently own a 325CI and am interested in driving the G35. Just wondering what is the best year for this vehicle and is the Nav worth it since i do not have it in my current car? (not trying to spend more than 30K) Any other pointers would be great. I really fell in love with the way this coupe looks on the road. I cannot see this car going out of style any quicker that the 02' 3 series (BMW). anyway i live in the Chicago area so if you have a good dealer recomendation as well.

Thanks and happy new year to all!

I am partial to the 05- not in love with the 06 changes except the headlights - definitely 6mt...

Id have to say for someone in your situation is to go with a '05 and definitely get one with the Navigation. You will really regret if you get one without Nav. but im thinking that the Nav would push it over the 30K mark. Whatever you do dont get an '04 those puppies have alot of squeaks and rattles and interior materials are not up to par with the '05's. You would be really pleased with a '05.

All the models are great. It's just a matter of what you like, and yes the more recent 6 m/t rides have more power.
If you like A/T's, the 5A/T is great too.
I love the navi, and have had it on all 3 of my Infiniti purchases.

The nav is WAY better in '06. It's worth paying the premium for an '06 just for that, plus the rear steer.

just dont get anything older then a 2005, the 03's and 04's interior will make you throw up when comparing to the 05-06
