went to dealer, couldn't resist.. bought $900 spoiler

Damn.. I just couldn't resist, first thing the dealer said to me was the spoiler on the G35's are not warrantied if they are not OEM spoilers.. well obviously but I was thinkin if one of LED's went out that would be a b1tch.

Anyways I said hell with it and purchased a spoiler from them for $880 installed.. yah it's a rip off I know I know.. but I don't know why it makes me so much more happier with my G. It's almost like a feeling of completion... well not yet but one step closer.

They also checked my brakes and told me I have 80% rear pad left and 50% front pad left.. with about 27k miles I guess that's good but I think they are exaggerating a bit. I think it should last me until about 36k.. since I don't run hard braking and I downshift to a stop most of the time.

Also they didn't charge me for checking brakes.. since I was there they are going to replace my left speakers since they turn on and off and readjust my window at the same time to get rid of that whistling noise at 60mph+.

Overall I had a really good experience with the dealership and happy with my service.. they vacuumed and washed my car for me as well.. treated me very well... The loaner car however was gay.....

It was clean.. but looked little crumby with scratches all over the front and rear bumpers, stains on the interior and HUGE decals saying "Courtesy of Herb Chambers Infiniti" on both sides of the car PLUS another one on the rear bumper... BTW it was a G35 Sedan.. I did enjoy the XM radio. Ohh and I'm not complaining it's only a loaner and it got me to where I needed to go... and beats waiting at the dealer for 8 hours.

I'll be heading back soon to have my speaker replaced..

Overall dealer rating so far 9 out of 10.

glad to see you bought the spoiler, definately gives it a better look IMO. and as far as the price goes, i wouldn't know if that's expensive or cheap.

good to see you had great service at the dealership. Hard to find em now a days lol

dealerships rip you off, but glad your happy with the spoiler, I love them honestly.

Glad to hear about your positive experience at Herb Chambers. I honestly have had AWEFUL experiences at that dealership. They always treat me like crap in the service department, and I've bought TWO cars from them. For my oil changes I take my car to Nissan on the cape since the closest Infiniti dealer is 1.5 hours away, and if I need warranty work (knock on wood i dont) I will be going to quirk Infiniti. I cant stand the service department at Herb Chambers.

I was in the same situation as you. I bought my spoiler for $700. Wonder if anyone got theirs cheaper, not like it matters though.

This is my first post... I'm def a noob with the 2003.5 G35 6MT which I bought from George Harte Infiniti in West Haven, CT (This stealership is a bunch of crooks, sold me the car and denied that the 6MT tranny was defective or that the seat was rocking. In any case, service at Quirk Infiniti is awesome... loaner is always available.. communication of issues or potential issues is professional and given in advance. Cliff the service advisor is very helpful and willing to go the extra mile to ensure my satisfaction and also agreed to order a new tranny and seat rails ( for that annoying drivers seat rocking motion when you accelerate/brake) for my car sight unseen.

In any case, Quirk Infiniti is #1.

Just my $.02

I just bought a brand new 05' Diamond Graphite 6MT with Aero Package the other day and if anyone wants to trade trunks with me I'd got for it! I prefer the wingless look!

PM me, email me (slickgsr999@hotmail.com) or AIM me (slickgsr999)!
