I installed my Skunk2 5/8" spacer about 2 weeks ago. I noticed that the engine sounds MUCH louder after 3.5-4k RPMs while the engine is cool.... BUT, when the engine starts to warm up and goes to normal level.. it's not loud anymore, more like same to how it was before when it was stock. I also removed the engine cover, but nothing changed.

Anyone have any ideas as to why this is? Did I install it wrong? I didn't get to screw in a couple of screws, but it doesn't seem that I have any leaks. It idle's fairly normal/smooth.

i'm probably crazy, but on my 1/2'' MD it sounds relatively the same when it's cool vs warmed up.

Now, on the stock setup yea, i noticed a difference between cool/warmed up, but not anymore....*shrug* maybe i'm just weird like that.

 

AHHH! Maybe I'll re-do the whole install and do it properly this time. Wish me luck. Heh.
