I can't figure out how people lower their Gs anymore than they already are - case in point - I was going up an angled drive-way today and somehow (this must have been one of those weird *** 1-10001 chances) because of how I entered and mounted it, about 1/2 up I found myself unable to move. Couldn't go forwards or backwards. Just sat there with it refusing to move - i get out and look around - apparently my right rear wheel had compeltely lifted off the ground!

I just don't see how it can be lowered anymore and be driveable *shrug*

The best I can figure, is that there was a medium sized bump on the road, and when my front right tire went up and over it, it lifted the back right tire up off teh ground

After like 5minutes some nice guy in a Jeep pulled over and offered to push the car back while I gave it some gas in reverse....all it needed was a human touch

I guess that means you don't have the limited slip differential. Time for an upgrade.

That must have been quite a driveway and I guess you don't have VLSD. I guess angled driveways need to be approached with caution.

There is certainly a big difference with the streets and highways in California versus here in Canada or Northern US where we have frost heaves and generally worse roads which can play havoc on a lowered car. A lot of the lowerered cars are in the warm climes.

lol thanks..

The G is actually a GREAT car to lower because of the short distance between the very front of the bumper and wheel. what causes you to scratch isnt really how low the car is but how far the front lip extends.. you'll find out that most bumpers & lips will come out CLOSE to the stock height of the OEM bumper/lip fromt he side (corner lights) BUT if you measure how much lower it is from the very front and how much further it extends then you'll see why people are having problems.. however, being low will cause you to get stuck at the peak of ramps and unless you go VERY slow over a speed bump you'll feel the impact through your shifter =\ isnt pretty.

just angle your car slightly before the apex and once you clear that your fine.. for getting over ramps and speed bumps.. remember your goal is to have the opposite wheels go up at the same time (Example: Front Right & Rear Left OR Front Left & Rear Right) to some guy this is too much or you live at a bad area for lowered cars but you get the idea..

my car wouldnt have cleared my cell phone if it was standing straight up on the road but i was able to get up and down my driveway and in&out of plazas/parking lots without a problem.
