Well, Tony . . . That is an interesting comment, which you pose there. I would have purchased my mods regardless of the PM savings that I received. The savings were just a bonus, if you will.

LMAO . . . I get stuff based on a perceived need, not based on savings.

I'm not a premier member due to several reasons:

1. I'm not against the site owners on making money, but they already have banner ads, google ads, sponsers, etc...
2. I help out the site by participating in the forums (which I suspect is the main reason people are here)
3. group buys limited to a subset of users will not be as effective as group buys available to everyone, particularly when you get larger discounts with larger groups

When I signed up for Premier Membership, it was NOT just for the perks... I have gotten so much information out of this site and it's members that I just wanted to contribute something to 35driver.com. The information alone far exceeds the small annual fee. The first GB I was in alone saved me more than twice the annual fee so you could say it pays for itself.
How exactly does this help sponsors by preventing members to buy from them?

The sponsors can conduct business with whomever they please in the Marketplace/Vendors' section.
