I saw the new GS430 license plate, it has the White license plate blub. Isn't that illegal in CA? At first, i thought the driver replaced it himself, but later on, i saw another 06 GS430 has that too.

 

yeah im sure very bright white bulbs would get you problems, something that would grab the cops attention. you can think about it, if you have the white lights shining on your liscene plate it would be easier for people to read it in comparison to some dim yellow bulbs

 

yeah, i see them on the new GS's and IS's. i think it's lexus new way of trying to be unique. i just see it as an attention getter, particularly to cops, so i would stray away from it.

I would think cops would like the fact it's easier to see the license plates with brighter white lights... IMO i wouldn't get them.

 

I actually had blue plate lights for like a week... (place I ordered from sent wrong ones and old ones blew) ... no one really cared

 

i have PIAA xtreme whites above my license plate, never been hassled for it b4.
