Mrev????

WTF is MREV, I searched but I just keep reading people say they love it, not actually saying what it is? is it an OEM part on 05-06 6mt g35's??? Someone please tell me what it is. Is it the same as the motordyne spacer?

It's a lower plenum from an 04 that can be modified along with new thermal gaskets to lower plenum temps.
Best Mod for '05 Revup engines PERIOD!

Right on.^ The lower manifold from the 287HP motor allows for better torque than the 298HP OEM lower manifold. It's a matter of air-management and a small volumetric increase. In addition, the Iso Thermal aspect helps reduce the temps. seen (and retained) by the upper manifold. Keep checking the site for a better explanation, pricing, etc.

MREV is, essentially, a combo package that includes the 287HP lower manifold with a spacer, gaskets and some other misc., heat-resistant hardware.

The only thing that's going to really be visible with the engine all buttoned up is the edge (perimeter) of the spacer, but that's even cast to resemble an OEM piece.

what kind of crank HP numbers and/or wheel HP would you see from the install of this mod. Will it be over 300 crank HP?

Look in the Engine, Performance, etc. section and check out the MREV/Motordyne review threads. There are dyno charts that illustrate the gains (and where they occur) very well.

Well if Nissan is saying that there is 298hp on the stock motor , then deffinently 300+ at the crank. To the wheels you gain throughout the power band , this is not a peak horse power mod. This mod gives gains in the mid, and some people have shown a loss up to @ 2hp. I gained 1.1 hp up top, but thats not the norm. I however did gain somewhere around 30fttq, and gained close to 22hp in my midrange. I also ran the 1/4 with it and got a 13.92 @ 102.??mph This will be improved now that I have learned how the car drives now. It is a whole new beast with the MREV.

Haha, your not kidding! I CANT figure out how to launch the car! I usually rev it at about 2.5-3k and feather the clutch, pressing down on gas. Even if I never floor it, im still spinning m all the way through first! Ah I love it, but I gotta figure out how to properly launch before i do some 1/4 mile runs. I'm also running OEM 17" all seasons because of winter, so that could be part of it.

definitely search that forum for the dyno charts and testimonials! This has been proven to be one of the best NA mods you can bolt on your car yourself. Serious bang for the buck. Miles of smiles when you push down hard on that skinny pedal on the right!

Here's the Motordyne product line listing on our website for your reference:
