especially how the B Pillar was crushed in slightly so now is there anyone with any bright ideas?

Unfortunately, based on the pictures, there's no way your car will be totalled. You can however recover "diminished value" from the girl's Insurance company. Call Progressive and hopefully they can tell you how to go about getting diminished value.

Good luck.

from your pictures... it is about 3000 -4000 dollars worth of damage... and they will not have to cut any body panels out so it will be all factory still... the will sand the paint off... weld sticks to it to pull out the dent in the door and body... pound out and stick weld pull out the dents in the b pillar and repaint... grind off the welds... bondo... and good as new... you will be perfectly safe... its not that bad ... glad you are ok though

i think we all feel where u are coming from in one way or another. I personally had my first car (RSX type S) totaled, then the same make/model (05 type s) got flipped 5 months later....something told me to let it go and move on, so here i am.

with respect to your ride, looking at the pictures (not to mention having owned TWO totaled cars) i honestly do not think they will file it as a total loss. remember: the value of the repairs has to be greater than the total value of the car in order for it to be deemed a total loss. I am not too sure there is anything that you can do to convince the adjustor otherwise because it's not a matter of opinion, really, but numbers and facts.

Sorry about the G, bro.

Sorry about the accident, but that doesn't look close to be totalled. It sucks to have 3 accidents on a car, but thats the risk and price we pay for driving.

there is no way they would total that car. sorry to say, but tough luck on that.

i totally agree with you though. 3 accidents, i would feel the car is "unlucky," but it's your call. you could just sell it or trade it in. there is no salvage title on it right? value should still be alright.

I feel were you are comimg from...my rides only a month old and I hit deer a couple of days ago. I agree with most others on this thread... there is no way the adjuster will write your car off as a total loss. If the body shop does a good job all should come out OK. Hope things work out for you.

Why is your insurance company sending the adjuster? Was the accident your fault?

3 accidents in 23 months? Dude, I hate to be the one to tell you this, but maybe you need to work on your defensive driving a little bit more. I mean, I think of myself as a very good driver...but even with that, I'm only as good as the person behind/in front/ or on the side of me.

I find that paying attention to my surroundings has saved my a$$ 100 times form someone else hitting me. I don't mean to be offensive, but it's something to think about.
