Stiff Ride - is it normal?

That's exactly the reason I took the 19" wheels off of my '06, Sport suspension Coupe and replaced them with 17" wheels wearing Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3s. The taller 50 profile sidewall and only 30 psi instead of 35 psi in the tires made my G a new car. The car might not handle as well at VIR, but I don't race it anyway. It's a damn street car and should ride with a little more luxury. And, now it does.

I love the suspension on our Gs. It is too stiff on rough roads, but it handles it really well, considering the low 45 profile on my '04. For your info it is a much nicer ride than the Mitsu Evo VIII on 17s. And I like it much better than my previous '01 Maxima and my mother's Taurus. Those things were smoother but when it hit the bump the whole car wobbled and went all over the place, where the G stays steady. To each his own, you have to sacrifice something to get something. I accept it and love it just the way it is.

I live in New York City and as known, the roads are sub-par to say the least.
Whenever driving in my G, I feel literally everything on the road which is a good thing but at times it can feel like i'm driving a 40k buggy. Is this normal?

I went from a Lexus SUV to the G. Talk about a night and day difference. I used go through pot holes, now I have to go around them. Six months later I am getting where I do not mind the stiff ride. When the road is smooth
