On my way home from work today, I run into an older integra RS. It had a huge ugly spoiler and a huge exhaust. I didn't even realize it was making so much noise until I turned off my radio, and AC, when I noticed he was trying to race me. At first, we were just playing. After that, I decided to show him what my G can do. I don't know what other mods it had, but I was following him in the left lane, and we had to pass someone. Realizing that there was no one in the 2nd and right farmost lanes, I drop it down to 4th, and slowly passed him in the right lane. The guys jaw dropped. I gunned it to pass through some traffic, and slowed it down to 80 (at some point I was going 120), and let him catch up with me. When he caught up with both smiled, and he kept going.
About 5 minutes later, I caught up with him, and noticed that there was an SRT (or whatever it is called - the faster NEON) being followed by a mustang (didn't notice which one) in the left lane, and the guy in the integra in the middle lane. The integra tried to pass the SRT, and barely squeezed in front of him to avoid a car ahead. The guy in the SRT and the Integra are racing hard, and the SRT is not letting up an inch. I decide to get in the action, and pass the Mustang, and quickly approach the SRT. By this time, the guy in the Integra pulled into the right lane (he was probably afraid he car was going to overheat ). The guy in the SRT slowed down as well, and I am going behind him. I was hoping he would pull over, but he didn't. Being the nice guy that I am, I though I should just pass him without flashing my lights. As soon as I get in the middle lane, he starts speeding up. I've been waiting for a cocky SRT the last three months. So, I dropped it into fourth, and was going by him before he even realized it. I know those SRT's are fast, but they are not as fast as some presume them to be. Our car is probably better at higher speeds, and equal acceleration from 0 to 60. It was a fun end to the night, as I got to race 3 cars in one stretch of the highway (if you want to count that slow mustang, as well). Sorry for the long post, but I thought I'd share my kills this evening.

Peace.

Re: Best night yet
what type of mustang? The V-8 with the twin exhaust pipes hanging out the back, or the V-6, which has an exhaust hidden under the car? If it was the V-8 (SVT, GT, whatever) I didn't realize the G could 'rip' it that well!

Re: Best night yet
I believe it was a V6 mustang.

And the race took place on the NJ Turnpike. I was definitely braking some limits.
