so sick of brake dust i gave in...
i have never heard of Satisfied brake pads before, but i took a gamble and ordered a set for $37.00. they are ceramic and are supposed to have low dust. i just can not get over how cheap they are.

Re: so sick of brake dust i gave in...
OK, you bought it~! Chump, chump. Just kidding, really.
I just got my tirerack mailer last nite and saw that one, too, next to EBC, Hawk, etc. "Satisfied"? What a strange name. Oh well (I regret saying this, but it sounds like some Taiwan or South Korean euphemistic name, similar to what the Japanese used to do decades ago).
OK, now here's the REAL DEAL, antrock. You absolutely have to keep us posted on an-every-3000-mile basis. Dust, stopping power, squeaks, rattles, ease of cleaning your wheels, wet-weather stopping ability, longevity, etc. You got it? That's the deal. Otherwise, all of us are gonna blast you every time we see your sig.
Hey, thanks for taking the chance REALLY! Do keep us informed and I hope it really works out very well. Actually, we all do!

Yea! What BONDg35c said!
We'll hunt you down if you don't 'fes up! <img
I put ceramic pads on a '97 MarkVIII just because the squeal of the
metallic based pads was driving me insane.
Best thing I ever did for that car!
1) No metallic pad squeal.
2) Unbelievable improvement in stopping power. (The metallic pads
were not that old.)
3) No discernable brake dust. <font color=red>At all!</font color=red>
I got them for reason # 1. Reasons # 2 & 3 are why I went to my
local "Merchant's Tire" store 3 weeks after buying my G35c in
January.
Their response, "SOL". The thing that p*ssed me off was that I called
them and specifically asked about ceramic pads for a "2003 Infiniti
G35 Coupe" before I even went there. I guess they had to physically
look at the pads before they could check around to find out that no
such pads existed. Didn't cost me anything except a <blink><font color=red>two</font color=red></blink> hour wait.
I saw these pads you're buying a couple of weeks ago but hadn't
gotten around to "experimenting" with them.
So, please keep us informed. There are hundreds, thousands(?) of
dissatisfied G35 owners out here who want to know your
impressions.

Re: so sick of brake dust i gave in...
yeah i am a former mn12 owner as well. i ended up putting raybestos quiet stops ceramics on my t-bird for the squeel, but i was amazed how there was no dust at all. we will see shortly if these bargain pads do the same. i can not get over how in expensive they are compared to the raybestos QS that i had on my old car.
Re: so sick of brake dust i gave in...
Suprhulk the term you just used:
3) No discernable brake dust. At all!
has now made me decide to order these pads. I was going to wait until my pads wear out (since I have almost 15k miles) and was going to get the EBC Greenstuff pads. I have been skeptical about "low dust" pads. But for $37, and a comment from a previous ceramic user that they make no dust "AT ALL" is making me order them today.

Re: so sick of brake dust i gave in...
Since I'm thinking about returning the UR pulleys I just bought and
the Cusco Swaybars I just bought (I'm starting another thread on
why), I think I can afford to experiment with this brand of pads.
Just wish they had rear pads also. Not that we need them back there, just that I'm kinda obsessive that way.
